Alkagesta says it has carried out its first truck-to-vessel marine fuel delivery in Constanța, Romania, supplying 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil from two trucks on 2 October 2026. In a statement published on its website, the company described the delivery as another step in the development of its distribution operations across Romania and the Black Sea energy markets.
The operation adds truck-to-vessel supply to Alkagesta’s Romanian distribution capabilities. According to the company, Romania has taken on a larger role in its regional petroleum products and biofuels business during 2026. The Constanța delivery was presented alongside developments in its aviation fuel, crude oil and sustainable fuels activities, as well as marine fuel trading through its Singapore hub.
Earlier in 2026, Alkagesta said it gained access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System and began delivering Jet A1 to the European aviation market. The company said those deliveries started during a period of severe supply pressure in aviation fuel. It also pointed to greater military use of the pipeline as an additional complication for civilian fuel distribution. Separately, Alkagesta reported completing its first crude oil transactions during the period, including an end-to-end delivery of approximately 1.07 million barrels to the Far East.
In sustainable fuels, the company reported securing a multi-year agreement for biofuel storage at Pantank in Antwerp and a five-year offtake agreement for used cooking oil feedstock. Alkagesta said these arrangements strengthened its position in the European biofuels value chain, adding to the range of fuel activities described in its announcement.
The company also said its Singapore hub achieved monthly marine fuel trading volumes of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes in its first full year of operation. Its fertiliser desk, meanwhile, operated against a backdrop of significant supply chain disruption and food security pressures affecting agricultural markets worldwide, according to the statement.
